Welcome!  Thank you for checking out our website. We want to personally invite you to join us this Sunday.
Whether you're unsure about this whole Jesus thing or a life long follower of Christ, you are welcome here.
Our passion is to be a place where people like you can find hope and experience love, community, and most importantly, Jesus.
Below you will find information to help prepare you for your first visit.  If you still have questions, please contact us at welcome@vineyardchurchgj.org.  We look forward to meeting you!

Our desire is to create a place where everyone feels they belong, no matter their age, background or other factors, by creating a welcoming environment, encouraging small group participation, and hosting regular social events.

We meet at 2711 Unaweep Ave, on Orchard Mesa, in Grand Junction, CO.  We are just 2 blocks west of Orchard Mesa Middle School.

Children & Youth

We offer classes each Sunday for kids pre-school aged up through high school.  We also offer a nursery for the really young ones!  "Pursuit", our middle school & high school group also meets Wednesday nights and periodically for other events.

Do I need to dress up?

Vineyard churches have a saying, "Come as you are", and we mean it!  We want you to come, be comfortable, and feel at home - so, come as you are!

What kind of church are you?

In the simplest terms, we are a Bible teaching, Jesus church.    We are part of Vineyard USA - a global movement of churches. You can find out more about Vineyard USA and our Statement of Faith by clicking the links.

What should I expect a Sunday to look like?

Our service starts at 10am, but we encourage you to come a few minutes early to orient yourself with our building, enjoy complimentary coffee & snacks, and meet some of our key leaders and volunteers.

Service starts with about 20-25 minutes of worship music, followed by a few announcements of upcoming events.  Then there is a few minute break while kids are released to go to their classes.  5th graders and younger must be checked in by a parent, while middle school & high school can go straight to their class (you are welcome to go with them though to check it out too).  We'll hear a message from our pastor, and finish up with one last worship song.  The entire service lasts about 90 minutes.
